Praveen Arvind Krisna
PhD Student · Computer Science
Praveen Krisna is a first year PhD student in Computer Science. His research interests include visual intelligence, physical AI, and computer vision.
Praveen holds a master’s degree in Robotics Engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia.
Joshua Hatfield
PhD Student · Computer Science · Co-advised with Estelle Smith
Joshua studies human-centered AI and human-computer interaction, with interests in trustworthy adaptive systems, VR/XR, multimodal sensing, and AI-assisted decision support. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Marshall University.
Prospective students interested in visual intelligence, physical AI, medical imaging, and engineered systems are warmly encouraged to get in touch.

Bayasgalan Zorigt
Master’s Student · Computer Science · Fulbright Scholar
Bayasgalan Zorigt is a second-year master’s student in Computer Science at the Colorado School of Mines and a Fulbright Scholar. His research interests focus on multimodal AI and machine learning systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Mongol Institute of Technology, Mongolia.

Michael Monreal
Undergraduate Student · Computer Science
Michael Monreal is a first-year Computer Science undergraduate at the Colorado School of Mines. He currently works as an apprentice software architect at Denver Public Schools and is broadly interested in researching engineering-driven AI systems.
